NSO Pops: Space, the Next Frontier

What's happening?

Explore the sights and sounds of deep space and the music, art, and fiction that it has inspired as the NSO and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) present a celebration of science fact and fiction in honor of NASA’s 60th anniversary. Boldly go where few orchestras have gone before with breathtaking projections from the Hubble Space Telescope, the International Space Station, the Curiosity rover on Mars, and famous films and television programs celebrating space exploration—all while the NSO performs space-age musical selections including a new commission by Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino and favorites from Star Trek, Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and more.
